i recently started praying by list, and i am still amazed at tangible results

since i began praying by list, which encourages continual intersession, and praying untill something happens, i have seen Gods hand on situations.

my mom just got accepted into a program where she will be a certified tutor. praise the Lord!

how annoying is this, i dont blog for a week then write 3 blogs in one day! sorry...read them all though please...some are funny and some are sobering...

blast...

my friend fell, fell into the enemies lies, fell into agreement with the world, fell back into drugs, fell hard.
she was doing so well, and lost it in one bad desition.
i am so angry

blast...

yet theres hope! hallelujah theres hope!

i just got off the phone with her, she admitted shes weak and needs helps, and admitted that she needs to rely on Gods strengh. shes agreed to go to treatment, pray for her.

now I call all my friends in the downtown eastside friends, becuase thats what they are, but with sarah, its authentic friendship, not that the other ones arent, it just seems more so with sarah...when im bored and have nothign to do i go to her house not becuase im obligated to but becuase i want to...we have genuine fun together!!! this friendship is one of those devine friendships...

it all started a couple years ago. i was not in the war college yet. i was downtown with cariboo hill temple street van, and i was wearing a camp sunrise staff shirt. she noticed it and mentioned she once worked at jacksons point. we got to talking. i then prayed for her almost every day and didnt see any more of her. infact along with cleaning my room found an old journal where i mentioned her in... went to work at camp sunrise, and often the Lord brought her to mind and i would shout up a prayer, then i was in the war college and met a nice girl named sarah, it took me about a month to realise it was the same person (she on the other hand new right away, and still makes fun of me for not realising it!, in my defense she looked WAY different, lost a lot of weight, lighter hair...) for the last year we have been friends...i went through some rough stuff during the year, and she encouraged me to persiver, at grad she said something i will never forget "im proud of you". all year the Lord told me to get in a disipling relationship with her, i compromised and just met with her as friends, i wonder if i was obedient in the first place, she would have not fallen...at grad i mentioned to her we should get together for a structered time of disipling and she was all for it, this time i will be obedient to the Lord most high.

Im in the middle of cleaning, and by cleaning I mean throwing out old junk, my room at my moms. And I just have to write some of the humor down!

I threw out all my old high school yearbooks, becuase really I dont need them...but looked threw the comments one last time...here is one of the comments from my ninth grade yearbook

"Party hard this summer, and maybe if church doesnt give you anymore bad
influences you'll smoke up with me again, you are so fun when you are high, your
fun sober too"
At least he credited my change to the of the church...[Jesus]

Along with this cleaning I came arcross an old journal. Here is one of the songs I wrote.

"My tears are falling for you, The love I felt is still here, Torn away our love
is gone, My tears are shattered, Our love is tarnished, My tears are shattered,
Nothing but the memories to hold on to, The memories of pain and of sorrow,
Those happy times have disappeared, It felt like only yesterday when you were
here, Holding my tightly away from fear, I weep when I think of you and I cry
when I dont, My tears are shattered, Where is the hope?? Shattered tears,
Shattered tears, Shattered tears...."

Im sure theres some righteaus redeeming available, but its a good laugh!!!

I also found an old portfolio from my high school photography class...the cover of this portfolio had some crosses, name of Jesus, etc, yet also sported some Pantera and Slayer (bands of demonic orientation) hmm, looks like I didnt have my priorities set yet! Inside this portfolio where some photos I took, and I had forgotten this passion I once had. But mixed in with the Nicole Brindle originals where some photos I had stolen too...hmmm...

Okay, Im going to go back and clean the rest of my room! Cheers

Boundless Magazine is out!

Read it...

So yesterday we, The War College, had our graduation. Good times.

Rather then sharing it all, becuase I really dont want to type that all out! I'll brief you with a sample.

So after the dinner we head over to a worship meeting. I had Haven Peters, a beautiful six year old girl, on my shouldiers while praising the Lord with the dance. A few songs into it, we begin singing "Majesty" where upon being awed by the beauty and presence of the Lord I bowed down. As much as my focus was on Jesus and my body was no longer in control, for my spirit had taken over, I was also aware that I had a 6-year old on my sholdiers and still consciencly knew that if I fell to the ground, Haven could get injured...so I kneeled down and proceeded to gently take her off my shouldiers, expecting her to run off and dance with someone else. (She is a warfare dancer!)...to my surprise though she stuck around. As I was kneeling and bowing down, I feel these small, delecit hand rest on my body, shortly followed by Haven embracing me tightly. Wow, I have never felt compassion like that before. Even cooler, she continued embracing me for like 20 minutes. Remember this is a 6-year old girl who normally would run off to play elsewhere cuz what I was doing was "boring"...this was clearly the spritis doings.

Furthermore, Havens five year old sister Serene comes to us with a warfare flag, symbolising restoration, and waves it over us for minutes.

I recieved alot of healing from these two small children that night.

I tell you, these girls are so intune with the spirit. They know whats going on.

Whats really cool is I didnt meet the Holy Spirit until I was 14, these girls have a decade on me. And Im excited to see the accellerations and the advancement of their spiritual walk!

God grant it!!!!

Shes back on the bloggin scene!

10 August 2005

Okay, theres only a few deadly sins left...(again...ALL sins are deadly)...and I have realised now this might be a problem, for I am back in the downtown eastside with limited internet. So to please everyone, including myself, I will do a quick rundown of the remaining.

Anger - Dont sin in your anger
Sloth - Dont be lazy

When it comes down to it, sin leads to death. So dont sin.

For you fans of the Be A Hero portion of the deadly sins, the remaining of those were...

War Affected Children
and
Orphans on the Street.

Both are wrong. Both need to be made right. So cry out for justice.
