Mike and Hill are finally engaged!

We had youth councils this past weekend. It was great. Kids got saved, and sanctified. I got to touch base with some friends havent seen in a while, and i got to meet new freinds.

My freind Lois Walker went home last night.

Today at re:gener8 (kids cell) we had a new seven year old. He is a tad hyper at times. My friend Phillip had an evangelcube (!) and this kid, sat down so focused and intreged by the gospel story. Questioning who this Jesus guy is.

I was informed today of an analogy regarding santification. So its like a birdcage. And you have two canaries. A good one and a bad one. We think feed the good one and starve the bad one. NO! Feed the good one and grab the bad one and wring its neck off and throw it out the cage.

Im waiting for my laundry to dry, and Im reminded of a previous blog. I am waiting and longing for my clothes to dry, more then I am waiting and longing for the Lord.

With that though, Im gonna go dig into the word for a bit.

This weekend we have had the priviledge of recieving some wisdom and insight from none other then General Eva Burrows, retired international leader of the Salvation Army.

This afternoon she preached on the Holy Spirit.

She posed the thought...

"As a Christian you have the Holy Spirit, but does the Holy Spirit have you?"
She went on to teach that the Holy Spirit, unless has your all, unless you have surrenedered everything to Him, unless you die completely, the Holy Spirit does not have you. As a Christian you have the Holy Spirit, but He does not have you. This means we cannot live with the full power and the full calling He has destined for us.

Ouch. Did this one hit like a double edged sword right into my heart.

Its a shame really that my pride rejects me from surrendering everything.

One of my favourtie expressions of worship is the dance....
worship is yes glorifying the name of Yahweh, but worship is warfare...
this afternoon I was at a worship meeting, minutes before it started I got a phone call where I was informed about some injustice that went on in someone I loves life. my attitude for worship this afternoon changed. I got angry. Im so mad at the Devil....enough is enough...he is done stealing from my friends and family, he is done killing my friends and family HE IS DONE DESTROYING MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY....enough is enough....
if i didnt get this phone call, ya i probally would have danced and worshiped, but there was something so different about it...maybe we should be reminded of injustice directly before worship...maybe we should be ticked of at the enemy right before worship...

but worship friends is everyday ordinary life...therefore we should be angry all the time...rightchusly of corse....

well im really tired im sure this doesnt make sense...
