My heart broke for the Downtown Eastside for the first time the other night.
Ive lived here for over a year, and I have served here since I was 13, but my heart just broke this week.

Through this Yahweh has shown me the definition of joy within suffering.

I wrote a song the other night that explained it, it basically says....

I love so much, I want more,
I have you I need you more,
My heart breaks, break it more,
More is not enough

Wow, Nicole, that's powerful. I hear what you're saying. Sometimes there is nothing left but to weep for those that God has seen fit for us to minister to. There is hope even in this suffering: "Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him." (Psalm 126:5-6)
I love you.
