Envy

I made the following definistion up...so be aware it holds no ground. But I figure jelousy is wishing you had something someone else has, and envy is wishing that other person didnt have what you want. Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation. Why are we envious of others? Why are we letting the enemy have this one? Instead of desireing what others have, why not praise the LORD for what He has given them?

Envy is such a silly tool of the enemy. God has this perfect plan for us. He has our lives planned out for our good and His glory. Satan would love nothing more then to screw with our minds, think our lives arent as good as the next persons. Dont give the Devil that kind of credit!...Repent of evny. Thank God for the lives of your friends, and Thank God for the traits, satus, abilitys and situations He has given you.

Aids and Plauges.

I dont physically have "Be A Hero" here with me. (It is packed right now) so the following quotes will not be word for word. But here is a sample of the Aids and Plauges reality.

Every 5 minutes, someone in the States between
16-24 is infected with the HIV virus.

A witch doctor in Africa once informed her paitents
that to cure Aids one must sleep with a virgin. The fruit of this was
people rapeing and killing infants.

One story in "Be A Hero" goes along these lines.
A missionary was walking the street in Africa and came to a dumpstar only to
find a child no more then a month old, dead in a bag.

Worldwide: UNAIDS estimates that as of December 2000,
there were an estimated 36.1 million people living with HIV/AIDS (34.7 million
adults and 1.4 million children under 15). Since the epidemic began, an
estimated 21.8 million people have died of AIDS (17.5 million adults and 4.3
million children under 15).

An estimated 5.3 million new HIV infections occurred in
2000. During 2000, HIV- and AIDS-associated illnesses caused deaths of an
estimated 3 million people, including 500,000 children under the age of
15.

In the United States: According to the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there are between 800,000 and 900,000
people living with HIV. Through December 2000, a total of 774,467 cases of AIDS
have been reported to the CDC; of this number, 448,060 persons (representing 58%
of cases) have died.
